Back in Connecticut the Dogwoods would be in bloom. Something about the graceful branches and simple flowers is beauty.
Flowering trees like the dogwood are one of the best parts of Spring, aren't they! Sad that New Mexico is too harsh for them.
It was nice to see these and other breathtaking flowering trees on my recent trip to New York. (But not fun enough to make me want to move back.)
We have dogwoods all over Camden, and one very large one in our yard, and I love seeing them bloom.
Dogwoods are a favorite of mine, too. They've already bloomed and gone here. I always thought of them as Southern thing, but now I realize they are not!
