A somewhat obscure song from Queer as Folk "PROUD"
With all that's transpired at the direction of the current administration I am not terribly optimistic about the future of LGBTQ+ rights and freedoms. But I will not present you all with my half-baked thoughts on the subject. Just a reminder of where we've come from Before Stonewall.

Our rights came from fighting. Now it's time to fight again. Nothing we haven't got experience in.
OMG Frank. "I Am Proud" - I love it. Thanks so much for posting this.
There was a time back in the '90s when I toyed with the idea of writing a gay anthem, the lyrics at least. That came to nothing. But I think this is the anthem I would have liked to write.
It's beautiful and so right just as it is. But in my head I can hear it as a big disco number with a houseful of sweaty, shirtless guys joining in on the chorus. Or even a rock version. I'm blown away. Thanks again, you made my day.
