The Meadow on a Misty Morning

Is it just me, or are many of us just depressed, bored, discouraged, weary?  We are bombarded by bad news, bad behavior, bad noise, and bad clutter.  We can't afford to indulge in simple pleasures like dressing up the garden, going to nice restaurant, or a movie (if you can find a decent one).

The only thing that gives me pleasure is a walk with the dog in the woods or meadows.  Today we met some nice people there and Benni had a blast.  See his blog for a home movie.

This morning we've got some nature photos for you.

I know just what you mean. But your photos and imagining you on an idyllic walk with Benni brighten things up and make me forget the bad news for a while.

The answer to your question: oh hell yes, for all those reasons and more besides.

But lovely pics of the flowers and fields. We have no morning dew here to speak of at this point, certainly not any mist. It's all hot as a brick outside by 8 a.m. these days.

Well, at least you cheered me up with those photos. Thank you! Take care of yourself. m.

Why is it so easy for us all to get caught up in the bad news, but take for granted and overlook the good stuff. Repeat after me... I will try harder...

I think that instead of North as FD suggests, you should come South...take a dip in my pool and I'll bring you drinks with little umbrellas on them...lol.

Ha ha, thanks for the invites guys, wish I could take you both up on the offer.

Y'all ever get to TX, stop by the house - we'll have a big time drinking cold beer and running in and out of the sprinkler . . . .
