Just a Few Pics of Flamingo Chapter Lambda Car Club and Pics of Ft Lauderdale, South Beach, Miami

Sunshine Skyway Bridge - Tampa/St.Pete

Just a typical Florida highway scene - flat everywhere, without the rolling hills and mountains that we're used to in New England

The original title of this post was misspelled as "Just a few pics of "Flaming" Chapter..."  I wonder if any of the members ever got the connection.  We stopped near Venice at the home of a car club member for a very nice get together - and great guys and great food and some nice cars (I'm not the car aficionado in the family).

At night on the beach at Ft. Lauderdale
A vacant high-rise that hawks are using as nesting platforms near Haulover Beach (click on photo to enlarge and see the hawks flying around top of building)

Guess you really feel like you're in Fla. now, huh. Beautiful pics, y'all have fun.

BTW is Joel the same guy as the dark-haired fellow you reminisced about and posted a photo of a couple weeks back?

No, that's another story but both Joel and Dennis and that guy from the cruising post all hail from a cluster of French towns in Northern Maine...draw your own conclusions.

There's just something about them French dudes, I tell you what. I could tell you about some Cajun stories . . . . Grin.
