Olympics

Can't believe its been 20 years since Leon and I were in Vancouver for the 1990 Gay Games.  Not the Gay Olympic Games, mind you, but the Gay Games.  Now while the International Olympic Committee allows the use of "Special" Olympics, "Mouse" Olympics, and the local TV station is holding "Wii" Olympics, and there are probably a dozen or more other Olympics, the organizers of the Gay Olympics in San Francisco were banned from ever using the "trademarked" term to refer to the world-wide gay sporting event.  Believe it.

I understand the legal issue. But somehow it just don't seem fair, does it. When they let all these other people use the O word . . . .
