Loaded Guns in Yosemite

Thanks to Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma, loaded guns will now be allowed in (some) National Parks in order to "restore second amendment rights".  Yeah, like there is a majority contingent asking for special gun carrying rights, that this was so important a piece of legislation.  I would hazard a guess that there are more gay, lesbian and transgendered individuals than there are gun-toting National Park visitors, but our basic civil rights obviously are much less important than those of the NRA crazies who need to protect themselves from camera toting tourists while viewing the Grand Canyon.

What I found interesting about the WP article was that Obama signed the law without comment "as part of a credit card reform act."

Okay, just too much weirdness in that one sentence for me to even get started on . . . .
