Drew's recent posts prompted me to share something I wrote years ago.

  1. Nuances is one of the most touching things I've read in a long time.

I think we all start out the same. And when we're all disbursed to our various parents, our lives are set. We grow up scared, intimidated, proud, confident, assaulted, hated, loved... and that leads us to where we are today.

We all are products of our lives. What you felt then is still inside you, but doesn't guide you or rule you.

How wonderful it is to me that you seem to know the difference.

I wish I knew that kid back then; I wish I actually knew the adult now.
